Customers demand healthy food options

Food is good for you. It’s daily medicine and part of our lifestyles. Thus we eat consciously. And we don´t trust big players anymore. Original crafted food is the real thing. Plant-based diets claim their popularity and force retail chains to innovate. Additionally, people do not want to suffer from changing their eating lifestyles, hence meat alternatives are boosting.

BBQ Pulled Jackfruit

A good example for a meat alternative is jackfruit. It is described as being like a cross between pineapple and a pear with a texture that can mimic pork when barbecued and pulled. British supermarket chain Sainsbury just introduced 7 veggie products as part of a new range, including Mushroom Mince, Cauliflower Steak, and Cumberland Shroomdog.

An American company now ships small pocket-sized bottles full of energy based on Ketone. The company is currently aiming at active high performers to help them improve training, recovery and performance. Sometimes I really think if a new product is worth buying. At least in most cities in Germany we can drink tap water without worrying. Still there seems to be a market for kitchen gadgets helping to make our daily life better. Companies try to make even the last parts of daily habits and behavior better.
